Arbor Terrace at Crabapple

In partnership with The Arbor Company, we are excited to be breaking into the senior living industry!

Our first project, Arbor Terrace at Crabapple, will be located at 12200 Crabapple Road, Alpharetta, GA. This state-of-the-art up-scale community is planned for 93 units of assisted living of which 26 units are dedicated to providing specialized Alzheimer’s/dementia care services.

Ground breaking construction is scheduled for January with completion in Fall 2008!

Caswyck® Trail
In 2005, we acquired Caswyck® Trail (formerly Walton Trail), a 404-unit, multi-family property in Marietta, Georgia. The property is currently undergoing a $6-million renovation, including a newly constructed clubhouse with fitness center, children’s activity center, other additions, and major interior and exterior property improvements.

Caswyck® Lanier

A class-leading, 344-unit, multi-family community in Gainesville, Georgia, and one of the highest quality apartment communities in that area. Residents enjoy stunning views of the pristine waters of Lake Lanier and the spectacular North Georgia mountains.  We purchased the 66-acre site in 1996, completed construction in 1998, and operated and managed it until selling to Mid-America Apartment Communities (MAAC) in 2005.

Caswyck® Lake Club

A 313-unit, multi-family community located in Gainesville, Georgia.  We acquired this property in 1999, finished construction in fall of 2001, and operated and managed it before its 2005 sale to MAAC.

Caswyck® McGinnis

A 354-unit, multi-family community in Suwanee, Georgia.  We built this high-profile development to become a respected cornerstone in North Atlanta’s most affluent corporate and country club corridor.  We bought the 44.21-acre site convenient to North Fulton and West Gwinnett retail and business centers in 1997, completed construction in summer of 2000, and operated and managed it until its 2005 sale to Amli Residential in 2005.

Caswyck® Olde Town

A 342-unit, multi-family community located next to Caswyck® McGinnis on McGinnis Ferry Road in Suwanee, Georgia.  We purchased this 44.75-acre site in 2000, finished construction in 2002, and operated and managed the community until selling it to Amli Residential in 2005.

Caswyck® State Bridge

A 227-unit, multi-family community in Alpharetta, Georgia.  We acquired the site in 1998, completed construction in fall of 2000, operated and managed it, and then sold it to Centennial Investment Properties in 2005.

Caswyck® Brier Creek

A 250-unit, multi-family community in Raleigh, North Carolina.  We purchased the site in 2000, finished construction in 2002, and operated and managed it before its sale to MAAC in 2005.  We are contracted to manage the construction of Brier Creek’s Phase II.  Construction is expected to start the summer of 2006.

Caswyck® Town Center

A 358-unit, multi-family community in Marietta, Georgia.  From the resort-style swimming pool and huge sun deck to the on-site lake, Caswyck® Town Center represents the best of class for institutional investors.  We acquired the 40-acre site in 2000, completed construction in the summer of 2002, and operated and managed it until selling to Sterling American Property, Inc. in 2005.

Caswyck® Parkside

A 234-unit, multi-family community in Marietta, Georgia.  This unique community offers strategically-positioned buildings offering panoramic views of Kennesaw Mountain National Park.  We purchased the site in 2001, finished construction in 2002, operated and managed it, and then sold it to Sterling American Property, Inc. in 2005.


Haywood Station Apartments

A 260-unit, luxury apartment property in Greenville, South Carolina.  From 1980 to 1994, we managed and developed the community in phases.  We sold the property to R. J. Properties in 1995.

Haywood Crossing

A 218-unit, apartment community located in Greenville, South Carolina.  We completed construction in 1981, and operated and managed it before selling the development to R. J. Properties in 1995.


Crestview, Florida

In 2005, we purchased a 10-acre land tract in Crestview, Florida.  At the time of purchase, the land use was zoned SFR-6; however, we were approved for rezoning to SFR-15, increasing density and enhancing value through entitlements.  This current zoning allows 152 residential units or townhome developments.

Hope Valley Farms

Hope Valley Farms is a 775-acre, mixed-use development in Durham, North Carolina, consisting of single-family residential lots, apartments, office and retail space. In 1991, we were selected by American General Realty Investment Corporation, a subsidiary of American General Life Insurance Company, to manage and continue development of this multi-faceted property. In 1996, Cannon and an investment group purchased the property from American General. To date, all single-family residential development has been completed along with 379 condos with another 220 coming, 120,000 SF shopping center and only a few commercial sites remain. The property has already achieved a great financial result!


Park Crossing

Park Crossing is another very successful mixed-use development purchased in 1980. This mixed-use development of 780 acres in Southeast Charlotte, North Carolina has accommodated a shopping center, 980 apartments, 550 residential homes, 348 condos, four medical buildings, and two senior living communities. The property is fully developed and was recognized at that time as the fastest sell-out of lots in Charlotte!
